Scientific Advisory Committee

The Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) provides sollicited and unsollicited scientific advice to NISB. The development and evolution of the NISB research programme - and its long term perspective in the international context - particularly benefits from such advise.
SAC members are prominent scientists with international stature in the field of Systems Biology. Their appointment needs the approval of the board. They may not have direct ties with NISB partner organisations (e.g. they cannot be staff members of these organisations).
The committee elects a chairperson from its midst.
