Board

The NISB Board is the body with the highest authority within NISB. Each partner appoints one member to the Board who also functions as representative and informant of his/her own organisation.
The major tasks of the Board are the approval of the research programme, the managementsbudget, new grants and investments, new collaborations/partnerships, and the appointment of the director and the SAC-members. Full details are described in the NISB collaboration agreement.

The Board is supported by a secretary-of-the-board. Under Prof. Lenstra's chairmanship this position is occupied by Drs Johan Vos (UvA, since 20080401), and under Dr Chang's chairmanship this position was taken by Dr Ir Christa Hooijer (FOM, 20070119 to 20080401).
